THE CITRON REVIEW

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

We read submissions February 1st – December 6th.

This summer we'll have a summer break from July 2 – July 31.

Please note:
If you see a blue box saying "There are presently no open calls for submissions" it means we're temporarily closed.

Check back at the beginning of the month. (Except for January.)

The editors at The Citron Review look forward to reading your work!

To submit Poetry, Creative Nonfiction, Flash Fiction, and Micros (across genres), please scroll down for the correct category.

Please submit all of your documents in one single submission and to only one genre per quarter. If the guidelines are not followed, your submission may be declined.

We welcome our past contributors to submit new work, but we ask that you please wait two years from the date of your last Citron publication before sending new work.

You may attach multiple documents (within a genre) for your submission.

- Attached files should be named as such: "Title_Author_Genre_Date"

- Please use the submission space provided for a brief cover letter and include a short bio in the third person (by way of introduction–no more than a paragraph).

- If you have not heard from us before the next issue is published, please feel free to contact us for an update.

Publication Rights: We publish only previously unpublished work. We will have first time publication rights only. All other rights remain with the author. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but it is expected that you will notify us if this is the case. Additionally, authors must notify us immediately if their work is published elsewhere.
